The Phoenix OS/2 Society, Inc (POSSI) is an international computer user group dedicated to users of OS/2, OS/2 Warp, and eComStation.
The Society was founded in 1994 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. It now has members around the world. Anyone interested in OS/2 and related applications and topics is welcome.
If you’re new to the Society, please browse our Web site to learn more about us.
This new version of the POSSI Website is running on a content management application (CMS). (Click on the “Plone” link at the bottom of the page to learn more about the content management system.) The CMS allows us to easily add articles to the site. (Check the Magazine area to see what we’re doing.) The new layout went public on 2-March-2003.
As of 18-July-2004, the site is going through another — minor — conversion. We’ve moved the site onto new hardware, with corresponding software upgrades. This forced numerous tweaks throughout the site to get everything working.
One downside of the change is that all registered users will need to re-create their accounts. (Actually, there’s an upside to this — we’re finally cleaning out the 50-70 “dead” accounts on the site.)
